Artist's Comments
The social ladder seems to mean something else for each concept. Communism attempted to bring the working man together and place him higher than the "imperialist dogs" who didn't deserve their place, while capitalism seeks to ensure a distribution according to each person's wealth and property. I'm hoping I got it just about right; it was supposed to show the contrast between the two lifestyles we've seen across history.
